Services
In view of the Prime Minister’s press conference describing the current situation, we do feel that we can no longer guarantee the safety of the congregation or the choir in St Mildred’s. Therefore we have to announce that St. Mildred’s will be closed until further notice. This decision has been taken with very heavy hearts, but it needs to be taken. The vicar, churchwardens and safety officer have just completed a zoom meeting and the decision was unanimous. We are aware that we could legally go ahead, but nearly 200 people at the 2 Carol Services would have been asking for trouble. Many people have spent much time & effort preparing for what would have been uplifting and joyous services, but safety has to come first.
The Church buildings are only available by appointment, but the spirit of St Mildred’s is alive and well and we are continuing to worship online.
Our services in December and January are listed below.
Please watch for further details regarding current Covid 19 restrictions.
