Becoming a Christian

You may be asking questions like…

  • How do I become a Christian?
  • What is Christianity?
  • Who is God and what is God like?
  • Do Christians need to go to Church?
  • What is the Bible? What is Holy Communion?
  • How can I learn how to pray?

Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation

There are important milestones in our Christian journey called Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation which give us the opportunity to experience God’s love and to make our commitment to Jesus Christ and his Church when we feel we are ready.

St. Mildred’s are happy to baptise babies and adults of any age! We encourage children to receive Holy Communion from the age of 8 before they are Confirmed.

Groups

We run several on-going groups where we can get to know others in the Church family, read the Bible together, and continue to reflect on how our faith relates to our daily lives.

This is an ideal way for all Christians to grow in faith, hope and love.

Please contact the Parish Office if you would like further details on any of the above.
