Join us for our Family Service for Harvest Festival.
Donations of tinned and packaged goods for Croydon Nightwatch will be gratefully received
There will be Refreshments after the service
There will also be a Mother’s Union Cake stall where the money raised will go to support AFIA (‘Away From It All’) which is a Mothers’ Union holiday scheme, to give the opportunity of a break to those who are experiencing stress in their family life. The fund helps families and older people alike to get a much-needed holiday and also helps groups (like the Croydon Women’s Refuge) by funding days out to the seaside, theme parks and/or zoos.
We always support AFIA with our Harvest cake stall and other bits and pieces; This year the calls on the fund have been greater than ever and coupled with the ever rising prices of breaks and outings, many requests are having to be turned down – so we are trying extra hard to help.
There are leaflets about AFIA on the MU card stall by the Parish Office.
If you are able to make cakes, or puddings or jams or sweets or..or..or… for us to sell we’d be delighted. Please deliver them to the hall before the service.
We look forward to your custom whether donating or buying goodies!
