The Season of Lay Ministry is an opportunity to thank those engaged in lay ministry for all that they do in the Diocese, and for them to consider whether they might be being called by God to a further development in their ministerial life.
Last June the Diocese was very pleased with the response to the first Season of Lay Ministries celebrating all the people of God here in Southwark are doing in service to those around them.
The Season was well received and welcomed and we have decided to make it an annual event and to bring it forward in the year.
We hope this will enable those who wish to explore a call to ministry to begin training in September.
The Season takes place during Ephiphanytide, Sunday 8 January to Sunday 29 January.
