Our community gardeners have been very busy building a wild flower garden, watering station and bug hotel. They have also plated lots of bulbs, which hopefully will flower in the spring, ( if the squirrels haven’t dug them all up!). It may look quite bare at the moment but by spring we hope it will be full of grasses, flowers, butterflies and bees.
f you are walking past the corner of Bingham Road and Sefton Road, do have a look at the side entrance gate to the community garden and enjoy our latest project.
If you have any spare plants or bulbs, please donate to the community garden, just bring them into the Parish Office or leave by our Sefton Road gate.
Gardening group meet every Tuesday 2pm – 4pm, no gardening experience needed, all welcome.
