Addiscombe Community garden is really starting to take shape and many thanks to the kind people who have popped in during the week to drop off bulbs and seeds for us to plant – we hope to enjoy these next spring.
This week we managed to dig out even more beds for fruit trees that will arrive at the end of the month and also built a low level planter for Millie’s Pre-School who have started to hold their own weekly gardening sessions with their pre-school children.
To secure the site we are building really sturdy gates between our different gardens and as we built a bug hotel last week, this week we built a hedgehog hostel!
Gardening club runs every Tuesday 1:30pm – 3:30pm ( note time change as the days are getting a bit shorter). No need to book just turn up. Entrance via Sefton Road or Bingham road.
