A request from the organisers of the St Mildred’s Food Bank drop-off point:
Huge thanks for the continued donations at the St Mildred’s Food Bank drop-off point. They are really making a difference but sadly a few of the fresh donations left on Saturdays are not quite making it through to Tuesday, our first pick-up of the week.
Due to this we have taken the tough decision to request that fresh food donations are only given on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (our last pick up of the week is very first thing Friday morning) to prevent unnecessary waste … but non perishable items continue to be welcome every day!!
Your donations are helping the Salvation Army feed c90 local families every week so they rely on your donations, as do the CVA.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at St Mildred’s Church (Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00am to 2.00pm).
