Thy Kingdom Come is a time of prayer between Ascension Day ( 21 May and Pentecost (31 May)
We decided to mark this time – not only with prayer but with some rainbow coloured writing on the glass panels at the front of the church.
We photographed them – but as ever we also have ended up with lovely reflections of the houses opposite!
The wording was as follows:
Thy Kingdom come
Father God – endless source of all creativity – thank you.
Jesus – endless source of every kind deed – thank you.
Holy Spirit – endless source of patience, hope and love – thank you.
Thy Kingdom come.
