Today should have been the APCM – where new church officers are elected and we hear of the events of the past year and plans for the future….
As is fairly obvious, we will not be holding the APCM today.
The latest legal advice that we have from the diocese is that we should hold it before 31 October, but that advice could change along with changing circumstances.
This means that all retain the positions that they hold at the moment.
All the Parish office staff have been furloughed – volunteers are looking after matters arising in the Centre and the Parish Office.
The Church and Centre are also checked on a regular basis for insurance purposes: all is well although it is in something of a time warp with all the Lent items in place!
