Palm Sunday – was celebrated in style at St Mildred’s today – with a drama – expressing how some people around Jerusalem that first Holy Week must have felt.
Most starting – ‘you had it coming’ – a farmer, a Pharisee, a trader, a priest, a worshipper, Judas Iscariot and a labourer talked about their opposition to Jesus and explained why they felt He was in the wrong.
Each reading was followed by the choir singing a verse of ‘There is a green hill far away’ – it was very powerful.
